Same money, different plan. Here is what actually moved.

What to do differently

• Install MembersWorld and set your bank details. Claims, pre-authorisation and your documents live there, the way MyHealth worked before. Your old login is dead.
• Check the clinic is on the Premium network before you book, using Facilities Finder. Off-network out-patient care costs you 10% even inside the UAE.
• Use the free seven-day follow-up. Same condition, same provider, in-network, no charge. It covers dental and mental health consultations too, but not therapy sessions.
• Expect a small bill for scans and lab tests: 20%, capped at AED 100 each. Advanced imaging is exempt.
• Book physio and therapy more freely. The old session caps are gone.
• Ration chiropractic, osteopathy, podiatry, home nursing and dietician visits. They now share one pool of ten a year.
• Travelling to the US: carry the BlueCross BlueShield Global card, call for pre-authorisation before any treatment, and keep your boarding pass and passport stamp. Claims need proof of your arrival date.

Newly spelled out as excluded

Some were not covered before either, but the new guide names them, which makes a claim harder to argue.

• Genetic testing and growth hormone therapy
• Stem cell treatment and experimental or unproven treatment
• Obesity and weight management, including related surgery
• Treatment for sleep disorders. Diagnosis is covered, treatment is not
• Multiple consultations with consultants inside the UAE for the same thing
• Infertility treatment, cosmetic treatment and donor organ costs
